Travel and accommodation

The participants have to organize their travels to Cayenne and their accommodation in Guiana (only the accommodation during the field tour in the West of Guiana will be organized by the workshop committee.)

Accomodation suggestions

Several hotels and guest houses propose accommodations at diverse pricesin the city center of Cayenne, close to the conference center of the Chamber of commerce and industry of the Guiana ( CCIG) where takes place the workshop.

Following hotels have prices compatible with the rates of care of public institutions:

Going to French Guiana

French Guiana is an overseas territory of France. 

French Guiana is accessible daily by airflight from Paris-Orly, Miami, French West Indies, Belem (Brasil) and Paramaribo (Suriname). Cayenne-Felix Eboue airport is located 14 km from the city center. Car rental companies are available at the airport. There is no public ground transportation from the airport to downtown Cayenne. 

An ID/Passport is required for foreign people to come in French Guiana. Non-european citizens should read information about formalities for travelling in territories of France, available on "French service-public" hub : http://vosdroits.service-public.fr/...
